ADVENT

For many, Christmas is a time in which our sense of anticipation builds as the season draws near. Through the change in months and seasons, we get glimpses of the impending holiday season that remind of what is to come. In the same way, the prophets provided God’s people with glimpses of Jesus' arrival that awaited hundreds of years before He came. Embedded in their messages were the announcement of a gift so great it would be centuries in the making.
During the advent season, we will be looking at a selection of passages from the major and minor prophets that announced the life and work of our Savior. These promises served as a glimpse of the hope that we now celebrate each Christmas and fuel our anticipation for the Savior who will come again.
