PHILIPPIANS

Paul, writing from his prison cell in Rome, pens a letter full of hope, encouragement, and joy, pointing us back to Christ as the supreme example and source of our power to live out the implications of the gospel in a world growing increasingly hostile to our faith. This summer, we will take a slow look at those implications of the gospel as we give up the things that we love for the thing that we love most – Christ! We have confidence that the Lord will complete the work He has begun in us; therefore, we can count it all joy in each and every situation in which we find ourselves.
